What this site collects, and why

Who I am

This site is run by Kunal Mukherjee in Mumbai. Questions or requests about your data: kunalai.in@gmail.com.

Your quiz answers stay with you

When you take "How AI-proof is your job?", your answers, your name and your result are kept in your own browser so you can see your result again and keep your daily quiz streak. They aren't sent to me. Clearing your browser's data for kunalai.in removes them.

Anonymous quiz counts

When someone finishes the quiz, the site records the role they picked, their AI type and their two scores. No name, no email and nothing that identifies you. I use these counts to see which roles take the quiz and how results vary.

If you ask for your results by email

If you type your email under your result, I store your first name, email, role, AI type, scores and whether you ticked the newsletter box. These go into a private Google Sheet, and your results email is sent from my Gmail account.

• I use your email to send the results you asked for.
• I only send you What the AI!? if you ticked that box. It starts unticked.
• I never sell or share your details.
• To stop hearing from me, reply "unsubscribe" to any email. To have your details deleted, email me and I'll remove them.

LinkedIn cookie (only if you say yes)

If you click Accept on the cookie notice, the site loads LinkedIn's Insight Tag. It lets me measure visits from LinkedIn and show What the AI!? to people who've visited this site, on LinkedIn. LinkedIn processes this under its own privacy policy. If you click No thanks, it never loads. You can change your mind anytime using Cookie settings.

The services behind the site

Like most websites, the services that host and run this site may process basic technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver pages securely. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages and uses Google Fonts. The daily news section links to other publishers, whose sites have their own policies.

How long I keep things

Email signups are kept until you ask me to delete them or unsubscribe. Anonymous quiz counts may be kept to show trends over time.

Changes

If anything here changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
